Packaging Development Services
As we design the package we develop the concept in various forms. On many projects we utilize digital 3-D capabilities to allow us to get a quick visualization of the form. From there we can refine and go into actual physical models. These prototypes range from rough form going all the way to a finished model with graphics, specified colors and board. This gives us a strong representation of the form, allowing us to move forward toward the finished piece. In a number of cases we explore multiple forms throughout various stages of prototyping to allow us a full range of possibilities.
In the packaging development stage, we work closely with clients to allow for feedback in a real-time scenario; which enables us to get to the manufacturing stage more efficiently and with a more defined and settled solution path. Collaboration in this stage is key and we emphasize this with all of our clients.
A number of the packages that we develop today deal with the issue of sustainability. Materials play a vital role in this matter, but concerns such as carbon footprint, market criteria, end-of –life scenarios and intelligent use of energy also come to the forefront. Therefore, we see the packaging development stage as the one stage that helps us to steer the project to the desired direction with variables explored properly, thus eliminating the waste of energy, time and manpower.
